Branding: Sen Sakana

My client was opening a new Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian cuisine) restaurant in upper Manhattan. I pushed them out of their comfort zone by urging them to play on the Peruvian influence rather than look like “just another sushi restaurant”. The typography is inspired by both Japanese characters as well as Peruvian tribal patterns. This project was designed at ICRAVE.
